We’ve answered some of our most Frequently Asked Questions below to help you to understand our treatments and to make the right treatment choice for you.
Am I suitable for Permanent Makeup and/or Aesthetics?
Most people are suitable for some form of Permanent Makeup or Aesthetics treatment.
During your consultation appointment we will explore with you which treatments will suit you best. This is a one-to-one consultation and includes a discussion of your desired results and expectations and any features you wish to correct or balance. From this discussion, your artist will recommend the specific treatments she believes will achieve the effect you want and explain the process. Some skin-types will not retain the crispness of microblading and may require more retouches than others. We will not carry out work that we feel is inappropriate or work with clients whose expectations we feel we cannot manage.
How long will the results last?
Permanent Makeup can last for several years but this is dependent on several factors including skin type, sun exposure and lifestyle.
If you have oily skin then generally the effects last between 6-8 months. If you have normal to dry skin then it can last between 1-2 years. Even after this time, however, you will have some pigment left on your eyebrows which will allow you to fill it in much easier if desired.
You must also always wear good sun protection (50 factor) as the sun can fade the pigments used.
Are Permanent Makeup & Aesthetics safe?
When performed correctly by an expert permanent makeup treatments are extremely safe.
All of our pigments are made of natural minerals that are specifically selected for their safe, non-toxic and hypoallergenic properties.
How long is the procedure?
Appointment times can vary depending on your chose treatment.
The second appointment, which is your top up, is carried out 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure and is around 90 minutes, sometimes longer for skin which struggles to accept the pigment. For this reason please ensure you have nowhere to rush off to immediately after your appointment!
How long is the healing time?
Will I need a Patch Test?

How do I Book my Appointment?
I have previous Permanent Makeup - does this matter?
If the pigment is still quite dark and covers the whole of the eyebrow, then it would be best to wait for the tattoo to fade or have removal before further treatments can be done.
Once we see a clear photo of your current brows, we can advise you on what treatment will be the best option for you, as sometimes depending on the colour and size of the old tattoo you may not need removal but just shading of the brows.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment after paying a deposit?
All deposits are Non Refundable, so please make sure you are certain when booking your treatment.
However, we do understand that plans can change, and if you need to reschedule your appointment please give us 7 days notice and we can rearrange without the loss of your deposit.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your treatment time. Late arrival of 30 mins will lead to your treatment being cancelled and your deposit lost.
**Please take a look at our COVID-19 Policy for recent updates to the cancellation T&C's.
Do Permanent Makeup & Aesthetic treatments hurt?
All procedures are performed with your comfort in mind and we will do everything possible to minimise any pain or discomfort.
For microblading we do not not use pre-numbing gels or creams because these often affect the water content of the skin which can ultimately adversely affect the results of your permanent makeup. You might feel a slight discomfort but it is almost painless. As the blade passes over the top layer of the skin you will feel a scratching sensation rather than pain.
For machine-brows we use numbing cream for ten minutes prior to the treatment to take the edge off any sensation you may feel.
With both procedures you are then numbed once the skin has been opened and the remainder of the appointment will be painless.
What if I don't like the result?
We will take great care prior to starting your treatment to explain the process and select the treatments that will enhance your face or body and achieve your desired results.
Your treatment plan will be agreed with you before we begin and any permanent makeup will be carefully drawn on in pencil before we begin tattooing for you to review, change and finally approve.
This level of care is not universal in the industry, however, and numerous clients have come to us for correction or improvement of treatments done elsewhere. Although this is a service we provide, we of course prefer to offer our clients perfect results first time!
Are your Treatments Expensive?
With a huge increase in the popularity of permanent makeup in recent years and with the industry being largely unregulated, you will find permanent makeup treatments for a huge range of different prices. However, in the cosmetic industry it is usually the higher end of the market which will deliver the most effective results.
The quality of treatment not only will impact on the appearance of the final result, but also effect factors such as the safety of the procedure and the length of time that your results will last. For these reasons, quality of service and experience should guide your decision rather than price alone when considering any cosmetic procedure.
Our prices are competitive in nature but there will always be a cheaper option available. We do have a range of treatments varying in price, but you should always try to choose the option which suits you rather than just making your decision a financial one.
We are also very proud to have partnered with Klarna; offering Pay in 3, an interest free option to make your treatment even more affordable by spreading the cost over three months.
From our experience and the increasing amount of clients that we see with disappointing results from less reputable technicians, we believe that if your budget cannot stretch to a trusted bespoke service endorsed by clients with proven results, then it is probably better to wait.
Permanent makeup is a long term option so you are likely to regret rushing into a treatment with somewhere cheaper who is immediately available (as we often have a waiting list).
Do you follow Health & Safety standards?
Yes! We pride ourselves on offering luxurious treatments in a clean and safe environment.
The equipment used is the latest and most technologically advanced. Like medical equipment, permanent cosmetic tools are safe by design against cross contamination. All needles are single use only and device parts are autoclavable and covered. We have strict setup, clear down and cleaning procedures and use PPE to protect ourselves and our clients. All communal areas are cleaned in between each client to ensure our premises are kept at the highest hygiene standard.
